Healthcare for
the Homeless
N.E.W. Community Clinic Outreach Healthcare
The N.E.W Community Clinic provides medical, behavioral health, dental and case management services to individuals and families experiencing or at risk of homelessness in Brown County. Homelessness includes individuals who lack housing, who may live outside, in vehicles or garages, or temporarily “doubled up” in other locations such as sleeping on a couch or living room floor. This also includes those whose primary residence during the night is a supervised public or private facility (homeless shelters) that provides temporary living accommodations; who reside in transitional housing; and/or who reside in permanent supportive housing or other housing programs that are targeted to homeless populations.
The Healthcare for the Homeless Team offers both same day and scheduled medical and case management appointments at our health center locations. In addition, we provide in-person services at homeless shelter locations throughout Green Bay. Our dedicated staff provides medical management for chronic diseases, including high blood pressure, diabetes, and asthma, and addresses urgent care needs such as earaches, sore throats, and rashes. Wellness exams, including vaccinations, are also available for both adults and children.
